Art Spectrum Colourfix Papers are sheets of 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper professionally screened with  ARTSprtectrum Pastel Primer. The natural toothy surface is ideal for pastels, pencil or charcoal as it will hold multiple overlays of colour without the need to fix between layers. The absence of fixative will allow the velvet bloom and vibrant colour of pastel to be preserved. (A final light spray of fixative may be applied if desired).

Colourfix, with its 16 dense colours and fine deep tooth is a permanent coloured substrate for gouache, inks, oil paints and acrylics. Pastels and charcoal are easily erased while maintaining the receptive qualities of the Colourfix surface.
